International Students
You must be an international student enrolled at a Canadian school, or an accompanying family member. The maximum age for students is 69, and for family members is 59. -
Canadian Students
You must be studying at a school outside your province or territory of residence. The maximum age for both students and family members is 40. -
Students and Family Members
You must not travel against the advice of a physician or other licensed medical professional, nor have been diagnosed with a terminal illness.
Reimbursable Emergency Treatments: Up to $2,000,000, including outpatient consultations, emergency hospitalization, surgeries, and more.
However, certain specific services have individual limits, for example:

Acupuncture: $1,000 (annual limit)

Prescription medications: Coverage limited to 30 days’ supply per prescription, etc.
Benefits include coverage for emergency medical and dental treatment, prescription drug reimbursement, vision exams, annual physical checkups, maternity expenses, and services from psychiatrists, chiropractors, and physiotherapists. The plan also includes coverage for accidental death and dismemberment.
